Hi

I've updated a machine to Win10 today (i5 Sandy Bridge laptop so 2 cores and 4 threads) and have done a fresh install of BOINC 7.4.42. The Rosetta threads were spiking to full CPU use and then dropping massively, resulting in around 50% idle CPU.

BOINC 7.6.6 (x64 version) has fixed this - it's running at 100% now.

There'll be a lot of machines updating to Win10 over the next days and weeks so this could be bad for productivity, assuming it's not just my machine playing up...

I've just updated a desktop to Win10 and also updated BOINC from 7.2.42 to 7.4.42 and it seems fine so far, although this CPU is a desktop Pentium so it doesn't do throttling which was the problem on the laptop.
