Is there a reason not to post a link to this status pages on the account page? I tried a search in this forum for free-dc but could not find anything. |

Is there a reason not to post a link to this status pages on the account page? I'd not heard of Free-DC before but looking at it now, it seems very similar to a hundred other distributed computing team websites (with the caveat that Free-DC says it is open to everyone). What selection criteria would you suggest the Rosetta administrators use to select useful links while still keeping the list to a manageable size? |

Hmm, a good question. As you can see, i participate in many projects. AFAIK all other projects have a link to Free DC status page. For me it was more or less a matter of fact that every project has a link to it. The idea that it needs a selection criteria never came up. So i thought there might be a reason not have the link on the account page. Never mind, i can use a link from my browser. Alexander |

Guessing that this might be a standard feature in newer versions of the BOINC server code. Since R@H has been around so long, they still run older server code. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

agree with mod sense that it may be a feature of more recent server codes, it'd probably take an update to some shell scripts to make the link appear. i visited free-dc web and saw that there is a link to the 'your cpid page' on free-dc http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=000000000000000000 i'd found it is pretty simple to copy/paste the cpid which can be found in the accounts page into cpid=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx parameter in the url. there after 1 can bookmark it so that you could access it more conveniently next round |

agree with mod sense that it may be a feature of more recent server codes That's not true! On https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/home.php Rosetta gives links to the following stats sites, linking directly to the users own stats -if the links are not dead yet-: BOINCstats BOINC Statistics for the WORLD! BOINC all Project Stats The Knights Who Say 'Ni!' (dead) BOINC Combined Statistics Team Starfire World BOINC Stats 'N Stones (dead)

agree with mod sense that it may be a feature of more recent server codes I dunno. Every other project that had a version of server greater than rosetta has Free-DC replacing Team Starfire World BOINC Stats 'N Stones. So it seems likely that there is a default list provided with BOINC. You could always download the server VM & give it a look. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ServerIntro |
