Is there a way to create an active profile and an idle profile?

I'd like something like: while in use, cap at 25% CPU, while idle burn 100%. But I can really only define a single profile at a time, so I have it set to 100% on idle. But I have the spare CPU cycles to burn when active... would like to contribute them.

Review the preferences in the BOINC Manager. It asks both for how much CPU to use when idle, and how much when in-use. So, you don't need two profiles if I am understanding what you wanted to achieve.
