Hello crunchers, I have a pc crunching Rosetta for 10 days/24 hours with no issues besides a few errors. But now all of a sudden ready WU's won't upload. Nothings has been changed on the software, settings and firewall. (A previous issue with f-secure is solved by removing the online safety module). Have more people problems with uploading Rosetta at 22:50UTC? Greetings, TJ. |

I suspect the folks back at the ranch will announce something on this. The site was down for a while earlier today. Then the site was back up, but server status indicated a number of processes were offline. Now the server status page indicates that things are fine -- but still no reporting, or uploading is working. You have company. It may be that as a function of some changes, the IP number got changed (just a guess here until the folks at baker lab provide some information. Hello crunchers, |

Thanks for your company BarryAZ ;-) Indeed I looked at the server page as well and all is green, but it seems that I don;t get new work. Do you get new work? I need to go to sleep, but when no new work for Rosetta then I would like to donate some time to Einstein. I suspect the folks back at the ranch will announce something on this. It looks like either a connectivity issue -- something like an IP change, or there is a possibility that Baker Labs is running multiple servers and the like and some piece is 'unhappy'. Push over to Einstein for now I'd say. I always run multiple projects so for me the change was simply more cycles for Einstein, POEM, SETI and Malaria. Then again, those four were already getting a few extra cycles with the Climate servers out of disk space for the past five days.... And all those projects have been getting more cycles since Spinhenge went into PERMANENT stasis a year ago. |

Hello; It appears that there is a problem with uploading finished WU's on my machine. Up until today, I was able to upload with no problems but now I see that my WU's are backing off everytime that BOINC tries to upload them. I checked the status of the upload server and it indicates that it is running. It looks like there could be a problem here with that server that someone needs to take a look at so this issue can be resolved. I also took a look at the messages on this forum and see that others are experiencing the same problem. Can someone please take a look at this issue with the upload server and see if they can clear it up? Thanks! |

Network Outages: As part of the UW's continuing datacenter consolidation, the network topology upon which Rosetta@home is run was changed yesterday. Since that time we've been shaking out the various hiccups that result from changing things in such a busy system. We, the IT crew, apologize for the troubles and will try to get them ironed out as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience and your continued contributions to our research efforts. -KEL From the front page |

My systems have uploaded and get new work, so for me everything is working fine again. And finally at the end of the day a note on the front page! Greetings, TJ. |
