I observe a big amount of computation errors as results by Rosetta applications on my PC system. I notice also that when such failures appear in my Microsoft Windows desktop environment it becomes likely that other programs like games or internet browsers behave also in unexpected ways like hangs or crashes.
Do any more users stumble on such bad side effects from failing data processing in one application with other software?

No, never had such issues, not from rosetta's computation errors nor from any other project. If other applications crash at the same time as rosetta, it's more likely some general issue with your computer (hardware or software), the first thing to do is checking temperatures and voltages, if they are all OK under full load (OK = not too close to some limit), run few complete passes of Memtest86+.

I absolutely agree - Rosetta never affects anything else on any of my machines. Prime95 is always a good test - try tests 2 and 3 for a few hours each as that should show up any problems. Hunting down any problems can be a bit more tricky, but RAM and temperature are good ones to start with, although PSU problems can cause all sorts of other problems.

I saw few situations when R@H cause errors on other application.
But it was lack of free RAM - R@H cores(threads) sometimes start to eat too much RAM(like 600-1000 Mb per 1 thread) and crash (sometimes with other app too) when system run out of free RAM.
If you was not at computer when it happend you ever not know what was RAM shortage - because after abnormal R@H WU crashes starts next WUs -usual normal with normal RAM usage(200-500 Mb per 1 thread) and free RAM is OK again.

I find it a general difficulty to correlate Rosetta application error codes with my observations of unpleasant software behaviour. I hope that it will become easier to narrow down the really involved error reasons.
