Hi,

I've installed BOINC 7.0.28 (x64) on win7 about a month ago and added the Rosetta project. Now this is one project I'd really like to support and have been running it for about a month, on and off.

The work units seem to compute for some 8-9 hours, then when ready to transfer they appear to upload. However all my work units result in "client error".

Is there some kind of workaround, update or something I can do to make this work?

einstein/LHC/seti @ home appears to run just fine for me.

Rosetta doesn't like BOINC v7 on some machines, see this thread. I posted there some instructions on how to downgrade to v6.

I think it's been said that the problems have to do with running GPU work on another project. I've never run into any issues because I don't run any other projects.

I'm running other CPU only projects and had the problem also. Downgrading is the solution for now. It would be nice to get something official about this and when they are going to fix it...

They have said they are 'happy' the way things are and see nothing wrong from their end. Some of us have just put Rosetta on a holding pattern until they change their minds or we get tired of crunching.
