Seti@home is down and Rosetta won't give me any more work because it says I've sent two results back and reached my daily limit. Is there a daily limit? Is there anything I can do to get the limit increased? I've got computing power and nothing to use it on. Steve

Looks like a permissions issue: 0x80000003

I'd install a newer ver of boinc and see if that sorts the permissions out.

Oh there are LOTS of other Boinc projects out there that could use your help during your time of excess computing power:
http://www.distributedcomputing.info/projects.html

Those are just the active Distributed Computing projects with some being Boinc and some not, the Boinc ones are noted.

And that classification is misleading as all the World Community Grid projects for example are BOINC projects as well...

I don't run the webpage or the info on it but you are correct, WCG IS in fact a Boinc Project!

Steven, I see you have upgraded BOINC as Danny suggested. Unfortunately your computer is still throwing the same error (-177, Maximum memory exceeded). Looks like transient may be right about the faulty memory. I don't run Windows but plenty of folks here can tell you how to test your memory (if you don't already know how). Please ask if you need more help and let us know how you get on.

Best,
Snags

another thought, how much memory is boinc allowed to use?
100%? or less?
how many other things are going on with your system that use memory?
is Rosie your only project?
is your system staying cool?
crazy question, but is the inside clean?
and maybe one other thought, shut the system down, take the memory cards out, blow them off and set them back in the slots.

you can have a look here and see if one the programs listed will work for you.

those are my ideas
