According to http://www.nvidia.com/object/io_1229516081227.html BOINC now some projects are able to tap into nVIDIA GPUs, greatly increasing the processing power. Is this something Rosetta@Home could benefit from as well? |

as far as i can find by searching 'gpu' there has been no official statement made by the team as of yet about rosetta and gpu. there is a thread here that talks about places to find gpu tasks and also why dc projects in general do not support gpu processing. seems that boinc is now supporting graphic cards: Version 6.4.5 ΒΆ released: 16 Dec 2008 * Support running science jobs on graphics cards now will rosetta write application for graphics cards in the near future? where is it answered? |
