Recently, like now, I've had two tasks that are too large to complete in the time interval. Why is this?

There is something seriously wrong with your system- the one Task you have completed took 1 day and 15 and a half hours to do only 8 hours worth of processing.
In your account, Computing preferences, Usage limits, make sure Use at most xxx % of CPU time is set to 100%
Save and then update BOINC on your computer (or change the preferences on the computer BOINC Manager if set locally).

Then start up Task manager & see what else there is that's using up all of your CPU time- you should check your SiDock Task times (your systems are hidden there). Run time & CPU time should be pretty much equal for CPU work.

EDIT-
Oh, and the deadlines for Rosetta work are 3 days, so best to set your cache for 2 days or less to avoid missing deadlines.

Account, Computing preferences, Other,
Store at least 1.00 days of work
Store up to an additional 0.01 days of work
