We know that some simulations about Corona is on R@H. But how can we recognize these? Can we select to crunch these? |

Ok, no answer (as usual). Another idea is to release eventuals "Corona wus" on Ralph@Home. It's empty for months... |

The answer is obvious. They don't identify any of their projects. They want them crunched according to their priority, not ours. It works for me. PS - I strongly suspect that they are putting a very high priority on COVID-19. Simply allowing user selection would not get it done any faster, and might gum up the works. I know you are concerned about it in the Veneto. We all are. Hang in there. PPS - I now have nine machines on Roestta, up from my usual one. I expect a lot of other people are doing that too. PPPS - Since you asked, the "1348" in my name refers to the Black Death. It has not been forgotten. |

I think for many of the noob users, like me would be great to know more about the projects. I came because of the covid-19 posts to help, but couldn't find any information about what is being done here on a short eli5 basis apart from the post on reddit. Still I want to help the project although I do not have a strong CPU, but I am not a doctor, nor a scientist, at this point that is the best I can do apart from personal awareness and hygiene. Still I see other home computing projects at least have monthly or quarterly updates. But I also accept that for the big guns, who can run this on spare server cycles or on corporate machines the need for such lively conversation/announcements is low. |

It is a work in progress of course. The News section will probably be updated as they make progress. https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=13533 |

The answer is obvious. They don't identify any of their projects. It's not exactly a secret. The information is encoded into the task name. Here's a quote from a post on the Number Crunching forum: These are likely jobs that are modeling the Spike complex (http://new.robetta.org/results.php?id=15652) of 2019-nCoV_S, the corona virus. The genome has been sequenced and there is a mad rush to determine structures for possible drug targets. Here is one of the task names: rb_02_08_15652_15556__t000__0_C1_SAVE_ALL_OUT_IGNORE_THE_REST_891233_2882_1 |

A lot of people are interacting with Folding@Home team on FB/Twitter 'cause the simulations on Coronavirus. And they are actiring people to their project. But no interaction with R@H people (only Fold.it is social-active) |

My gpus are working for fah at the moment. Fah got a very good publicity and companies started to dedicate thousands of gpus to the project. Everybody is talking about fah, they have an unbelievable computing power. Servers crahed due to high demand but big companies started to support their servers too. They are back online and crunching at an incredible rate. Good for humanity. |

The answer is obvious. They don't identify any of their projects. As I'm ne here & coming from donating my computer power to WCG. So please, be patient with my questions. Does R@H have some kind of science selection for users? On WCG we could select the project we would like to donate to. & help out that way. Is that possible somehow here on R@H? thanks for answers, non-profit org. Play4Life in Zagreb, Croatia, EU |

Looking at these numbers: https://www.boincstats.com/stats/14/project/detail/user R@H grows! maybe more organic growth than the F@H community, where many wait for WUs (server load too high) But I'm a complete outsider, I don't know what the R@H infrastructure is capable of. |

But I'm a complete outsider, I don't know what the R@H infrastructure is capable of. I don't think anyone else does either. Maybe they have enough server capacity, but look around for the topic on stalled downloads. That may be due to server overload. They don't tell us (maybe they have not even investigated it themselves). |

hi, if they have not time , just one minute to write something here or on twitter..?? hmmm 10+ years no badges,,,( it is probably not so important for them even when they did tasks for this C. |
