Wonderful results from the AP article. See all the stats. Add this signature to your EMail: Running Microsoft's "System Idle Process" will never help cure cancer, AIDS nor Alzheimer's. But running Rosetta@home just might! https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ |

Yes, it's awesome! And what's more important, is the "word of mouth" and the multiplier effect (people telling friends, family etc) of this publicity. I hope Rosetta's servers hardware and network link handles the spike in load, I've been noticing delays recently. Perhaps the project could increase WU runtime (from 3 to 4-5 hr) and/or put specific instructions for dialup users on how to do so. Wonderful results from the AP article. See all the stats. I already noticed this, and started a thread about it, as I thougt it maby was some sort of bug. https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=1728 it is very good to see that the number of users and hosts is increasing so rapidly. That's because alot of peeps are bailing out of Seti in droves. Einstein and Rosetta are obviously the main beneficiaries of Berkeley's "let them eat cake" mentality. |
