I don't see it mentioned elsewhere on the forums, but I just found a link over at livescience.com and its linked counterpart at Yahoo news describing Rosetta. Might be interesting to see what kind of influx of users there will be. http://www.livescience.com/technology/060405_rosetta_home.html |

Might I suggest we all show our interest in such news stories by clicking the sites showing the story. This will help the media see that the public is interested in the topic. Might also help it score higher and get more views. There was mention of... I think it was Fox picking up the story as well, but I couldn't find the post. If someone finds it, let's post all the sites here so people an easily click to them all, and be counted. Found it! Fox News copy. I think if we click through to the articles it will be a good way to show them we're interested in more articles like this. In fact that may be why this LiveScience article made it to Fox in the first place. I noticed that someone posted in SETI forums that the subscribors to the livescience newsletter received this about Rosetta in their emailings. Founder of BOINC GROUP - Objectivists - Philosophically minded rational data crunchers. |
